Cheerleading

Cheerleading is a team sport that combines tumbling, stunting, and dance into a routine that serves to entertain crowds and deliver in competition. The McGill Cheerleading team aims to develop our athletes physically and socially as they participate in both sideline cheer and competitive cheer. McGill Cheer encourages athletes to challenge themselves to improve their cheer and gymnastics skills while practicing good sportsmanship and team cooperation. By joining the team, you will develop both as an athlete through constructive practices and as an individual through teamwork. Lastly, McGill Cheer fosters a great sense of belonging within our tightly knit team as well as the greater McGill community. From all past members and current cheerleaders, we encourage everyone to come and tryout for McGill Cheer!
