The Children's Learn to Swim program is open to children aged 3-14 years, McGill’s dynamic Learn-to-Swim program offers swimming instruction in small classes taught by university students with a passion for teaching. The Saturday morning swim program takes place at the Memorial Pool in McGill Sports Complex at 475 Pine Avenue West. Children follow the Olympic Way swimming program which focusses on the development of the skills required for the four competitive strokes being front crawl, back crawl, breaststroke, and butterfly. The descriptions of the levels below outline the skills necessary to register for each of the 8 levels. In each level the participants will be learning the skills necessary to progress to the following level.
