Memberships to the Macdonald Stewart Athletic Complex include:

• access to the gymnasium, playing fields and outdoor gym and volleyball court
• access to the Fitness Centre (15+ years of age)
• member rates to all fitness classes and programs

McGill students

During the fall and winter semesters, all full-time and part-time students pay Athletics fees as part of their tuition and are therefore considered members of the Stewart Athletic Complex.

Through the spring and summer months, (May 1 - August 31), full-time and part-time students must purchase a summer membership for access to the Athletic Complex.

General Memberships

Complex memberships may be purchased by McGill affiliated individuals (staff, alumni, continuing education students), John Abbott staff and students and the community at large. Reduced membership rates are available to seniors and the spouses of members.

• Spouse of member receives 15% discount on the member's rate (does not apply to monthly memberships)
• Spouse of McGill student receives 15% discount on the staff rate (does not apply to monthly memberships)
• Ages 65 and over receive a 25% discount on the community rate (does not apply to monthly memberships)

• Refunds are subject to a $5 administration charge
• Refunds for semester memberships will be based on the monthly rate

Day passes are $8.00 for students/alumni and $10.00 for the general community. They must be purchased on site if space is available.

Memberships can be purchased on-line or at the gym office during office hours.

There is no charge to use the outdoor facilities; the outdoor gym, sand volleyball court and fields.
