What is CILA?
The Canadian Intercollegiate Lumberjacking Association (CILA) was formed in 1997 by four lumberjacking colleges with the purpose of providing a venue for all members to participate in a series of competitions.

Our History
A Storied History
In 1954 the Macdonald Aggies entered the McGill University Outing Club’s second annual Intramural-intercollegiate Woodsmen Competition, competing in felling and twitching, chopping, splitting, bucksawing, crosscutting, pulp log throwing, log rolling and water boiling.
