Stress-buster activities give McGill staff a chance to stay active and unwind for free from Monday to Thursday throughout the exam period.

Healthy Spine Yoga
Stressbusters

Healthy Spine Yoga is a slow practice focused on proper body alignment to promote a healthy well-being. It is a gentle approach that improves flexibility, strengthens and stretches the spine, while fostering relaxation and stress relief, especially tension in the back area. This form of yoga can be easily adaptable to different needs and abilities.

Aerobics Room

Pilates teaches body mechanics, balance, coordination, positioning of the body, spatial awareness, strength, and flexibility. Participants exercise on a floor mat in a slow and controlled manner working to develop good posture and body alignment.

Tuesday
1:00 to 1:45 p.m.

Zumba dance is a fun, effective, full-body workout with a blend of Latin and international rhythms. With the fitness-dance choreography, you will also learn a mix of Salsa, Merengue, Hip hop, and Arabic dance moves, all while working out in an energetic group environment.
