Runs will consist of a slow and gradual build-up of your endurance with walk-run intervals, along with the opportunity to learn about important running topics (proper warm-up, running technique, adherence, and injury prevention). Muay Thai, sometimes referred to as Thai boxing, is a Thai martial art and full-contact combat sport that uses stand-up striking, sweeps, and various clinching techniques. In this class, you will learn the "Art of eight limbs", as it is characterized by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees and shins. This is a no sparring, non-contact class. Pads and heavy bags are used to practice and drill strikes. Gloves are supplied. Shin guards and wraps are not supplied but highly recommended.
