The McGill Fencing Club aims to provide current and prospective fencers an opportunity to learn and practice the sport of fencing and become a part of the tightly knit community of fencers at McGill. Our club is beginner-friendly. We offer classes with experienced instructors who are excited to pass on their knowledge, tailored to your level of experience. To register, you do not need to be a McGill Student.
Our classes/practices take place at the Currie Gym in the Activities Room, in which we have a specialized practice studio with scoring machines, an arsenal and a team room where personal equipment can be stored. All equipment is provided, however if you would like to purchase a glove for sanitary reasons, you can purchase one from us for $25 CAD. We offer both left and right handed gloves with sizes ranging from XS to XXL. Personalized McGill Fencing Club patches for your equipment can also be purchased for $15 CAD.
